Strategic Placement Tips

• The Mid-Point Rule: For best results, place the repeater halfway between the control panel and the furthest cluster of sensors. Avoid placing it too close to the panel, as this provides no benefit.

• Avoid Interference: Mount the unit at least 2 meters away from other electrical equipment, large metal objects (like fuse boxes or water tanks), or wireless routers.

• Vertical Orientation: Mount the unit vertically on a wall at a height of 2 to 3 meters for the best signal propagation across the floor plan.

Note: The PG8920 is transparent to the system. Once enrolled, you do not need to manually “assign” sensors to it; the PowerG protocol will automatically route devices through the repeater if it provides a stronger signal than the main panel.
