  • High Mount (2.2m – 2.7m): Utilizes a multi-level detection pattern to cover a full 12m radius, perfect for monitoring large yards or driveways.

Installation & Best Practices

• Lens Adjustment: When switching between High and Low mounting, remember to flip the internal lens and set the internal switch to the corresponding mode to ensure the detection zones are aligned correctly.

• Horizontal Adjustment: Use the included bracket to rotate the unit up to 90 degrees left or right to align the 120° beam exactly where protection is needed.

• Avoid Obstructions: Ensure the sensor has a clear line of sight. Large leafy plants directly in front of the lens should be trimmed to prevent false alarms during high winds.

Note: The QXI-R is the PIR-only alternative to the Dual-Tech (RDT) model. It is exceptionally power-efficient, offering a long battery life while providing the same high-quality detection area.
